Curvin Transport are seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking class 2 driver for multi drop palletised deliveries within the BH postcode.
Job Description:
- Class 2 Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digi Tachograph card.
- HGV/LGV Driving experience.
- Thorough understanding of driving regulations.
- Good standard of English, able to communicate with the depot and customers and understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent customer service skills as you will be promoting Curvin Transport.
- Computer literate as using the in-house track and trace equipment is a requirement of the job.
- Punctual, reliable, and have a reasonable level of physical fitness as the deliveries require the use of a pallet pump truck (electric or manual) and vehicle tail lift.
- Located within a reasonable travelling distance of the depot.
- Newly qualified drivers with the right aptitude will also be considered.
The role is full time, covering a shift pattern Monday to Friday and a Saturday morning on a 1 in 4 basis. This is a permanent position with a shift time of approximately 10 hours per day, although this depends on the needs of the business.
28 paid days holiday which includes bank holidays, increasing over time to a maximum of 31 days including bank holidays.
