The predicted salary is between 14.5 - 14.5 £ per hour.
We are looking for a Day Shift HGV Class 1 Driver ideally with multi-drop experience. This role involves delivering and collecting loads within the local area. There will also be occasions when you will have some longer distance runs.
Job Requirements:
- Class 1 Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Thorough understanding of driving regulations.
- Good standard of English, able to communicate with the depot and customers and understand both written and verbal instructions.
- Excellent customer service skills as you will be promoting our company at all times.
- Computer literate as using the in-house track and trace equipment is a requirement of the job.
- Punctual, reliable, and have a reasonable level of physical fitness as some deliveries require the use of a pallet truck (electric or manual) and vehicle tail lift.
- Located within a reasonable travelling distance of the depot.
- Newly qualified drivers with the right aptitude will also be considered.
The role is full time, covering a shift pattern including Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday morning on a rota basis. Flexible in line with the demands of the business.
