Curvestone is building the AI workflow layer for complex, high-stakes processes — replacing manual, siloed roles in regulated industries with AI systems that work faster, more consistently, and leave a full audit trail. We work with compliance officers and financial services innovators who rely on us as critical infrastructure. We are a high-growth company headquartered in Holborn, London, backed by a £3m seed round announced in December last year. Our team brings together deep expertise in AI, automation, and enterprise transformation, united by a mission to reinvent how regulated industries work. We are now scaling our go-to-market organisation. This is an opportunity to help build category-defining technology, see your work adopted by leading financial services organisations, and join Curvestone at a formative stage of our growth. The Head of Sales is the most senior commercial hire we have made. You will run the sales function and own the results, working with the CEO on strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Scale and lead the sales function
  • Take ownership of Curvestone’s existing sales motion and evolve it into a more repeatable, predictable revenue engine.
  • Refine ICP definition, qualification criteria, pricing approach, and deal structure as we learn what resonates with different buyer types across the market.
  • Ensure sales execution is consistent, disciplined, and aligned with company objectives.
  • Own deal execution
  • Lead the entire enterprise sales cycle from opportunity to close, partnering directly with founders and cross-functional teams as required.
  • Manage longer sales cycles involving procurement, security reviews, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Generate and accelerate pipeline through your own senior relationships to complement our existing pipeline, opening doors that would otherwise take months to reach.
  • Work with Customer Success so deals hand over cleanly and accounts stay healthy after signature.
  • Build and develop the sales team
  • Lead and coach the existing team: a senior account executive, and two sales development reps working toward AE.
  • Hire additional sales roles over time as volume and focus justify it.
  • Set clear expectations, targets, and development plans to support high performance.
  • Sales operations and forecasting
  • Own pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Maintain strong CRM hygiene and ensure data quality.
  • Introduce processes and structure where they improve visibility and execution.
  • Support growth into adjacent workflow areas
  • Work closely with the CEO, Marketing and Product to support expansion into new workflow areas.
  • Help shape early customer engagements so they can be translated into repeatable, scalable sales motions.
  • Feed structured market and customer insights back into Product and leadership.

We're based in Holborn, London and have a 3-day in-office policy. While the Head of Sales role may require you to spend some time outside of the office with clients, we expect the Head of Sales to have a regular presence in the office, especially in the early stages where proximity to the leadership team will be important.

About You

  • 8-15 years in B2B sales, with recent, hands‑on experience personally closing complex deals and significant time spent selling into financial services or a closely adjacent regulated market.
  • Deep working knowledge of how the industry actually operates: how buyers are structured, how decisions get made, how to build relationships in complex environments, and where budgets sit.
  • An established senior network in financial services, built over a career spent selling into it.
  • Track record of closing complex, multi‑stakeholder deals across mid‑market and enterprise accounts — comfortable navigating procurement, legal review, and security sign‑off without losing momentum.
  • You’ve inherited a sales motion and made it meaningfully better: more structured, more predictable, higher‑converting.
  • Credible and confident engaging with senior buyers in financial services and other regulated functions.
  • Experience selling technical or complex enterprise software (preferred)
  • Structured and analytical: comfortable owning forecasts, pipeline health, and CRM discipline.
  • Commercially accountable, and still an active closer.
  • You own the number rather than the activity, you lead from the front, and you bring the team with you.

What We Offer

  • Compensation: Competitive package including equity options
  • Impact and ownership: A senior role with meaningful influence over Curvestone’s growth, sales strategy, and go-to-market execution.
  • Innovative culture: You’ll be part of a generational opportunity to shape the trajectory of applied AI, working with a team pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
  • Growth paths: Curvestone offers a dynamic environment with significant opportunities to take ownership, expand your remit, and grow beyond your immediate role.
  • Annual leave: 26 days per year, excluding bank holidays. We also have a tenure‑based holiday scheme where you gain one additional day for each year with the company up to 5 years.
  • Annual company offsite: Each year, we bring the full team together in a new location to align, learn, and connect as a group.
