About Curvestone

Curvestone builds the AI workflow layer for complex, high‑stakes processes, replacing manual, siloed roles in regulated industries with AI workers that deliver speed, accuracy, and auditability that humans alone cannot scale. We partner with compliance officers, financial services and insurance innovators and legal ops leaders who rely on us as critical infrastructure. For them, we are not a “nice‑to‑have” experiment. We are business‑critical.

We are a high‑growth company headquartered in Holborn, London, backed by a £3m seed round in December last year. Our team brings together deep expertise in AI, automation, and enterprise transformation, united by a mission to reinvent how regulated industries work. We are now scaling rapidly and expanding our footprint across regulated industries. This is an opportunity to help build category‑defining technology, see your work adopted by leading organisations in law, finance, insurance and compliance, and join Curvestone at a formative stage of our growth.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Solution Engineer to embed directly within our Solution Engineering team at our London HQ. This role sits at the heart of how we deliver value to clients. You’ll develop deep expertise in client use‑case clusters, becoming a subject‑matter expert who understands what “good” looks like in each domain. From there, you’ll own the hands‑on work of configuring, systematically evaluating, and iteratively improving AI‑powered agentic workflows — including sourcing and creating the evaluation data that drives quality (whether that’s collecting data from clients, cleaning it, or generating synthetic datasets).

You’ll work closely with Product to improve the platform and enable more effective workflow configuration, and with Customer Success to ensure we deliver a world‑class client experience. Day‑to‑day, you’ll use tools like Claude Code extensively to leverage yourself — vibe‑coding internal tooling, generating synthetic data, prototyping new feature ideas, and communicating those ideas internally. You’ll be hands‑on from day one. We move quickly, context changes daily, and we need someone who identifies problems before being asked, takes ownership without being chased, and wants to understand the domain deeply enough to make good judgement calls.

What You’ll Do

  • Use‑case expertise & workflow optimisation
    • Develop deep domain knowledge in client use‑case clusters, becoming a subject‑matter expert who can evaluate workflow outputs with real judgement.
    • Configure, systematically evaluate, and iteratively improve AI‑powered agentic workflows — refining prompts, adjusting configurations, and running structured review cycles to drive quality.
    • Source and create evaluation data to benchmark and improve workflows — collecting ground‑truth data from clients, cleaning and structuring it, and generating synthetic datasets where needed.
    • Build and maintain evaluation frameworks, test‑case libraries, and workflow templates so improvements are measurable and repeatable.
  • Cross‑team collaboration & customer experience
    • Work closely with the Product team to feed back insights from workflow performance, surface improvement opportunities, and help enable more effective configuration capabilities in the platform.
    • Partner with Customer Success to ensure a world‑class client experience — triaging issues, reproducing problems, and ensuring fixes land properly.
    • Gather requirements and context directly from clients and translate those into actionable workflow improvements.
    • Become highly proficient with Claude Code and use it extensively to multiply your own output — this is a core part of how we work.
    • Vibe‑code internal tools, scripts, and utilities that accelerate the team — from data‑cleaning pipelines to evaluation harnesses.
    • Generate synthetic data, prototype new feature ideas, and build lightweight demos to communicate concepts internally.
    • Maintain clean, useful documentation that the team can actually act on.

About You

There’s no single background we’re looking for. What matters is the right combination of traits and a foundation of technical curiosity. You probably have:

  • Experience in a technical, analytical, or engineering‑adjacent role — software engineer, data scientist, ML engineer, technical consultant, or similar.
  • Enough technical grounding to get hands‑on with AI tools, APIs, and structured data without needing things explained twice.
  • Experience using agentic AI tools (like Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) to accelerate your own work — you’re already experimenting with what’s possible.
  • Strong communication skills — you’ll be working across Solution Engineering, Product, and Customer Success and need to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • A proven habit of identifying and solving problems before being asked. You don’t wait for a task list.

You're the right fit if you:

  • Are based in London and willing to work from our Holborn office regularly — proximity to the team is important here.
  • Get energized by going deep in a domain — developing real judgement, not just following a process.
  • Are excited about AI as a practical tool for getting things done, not just as a concept.
  • Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI‑native development tools.
  • Sufficient engineering experience to be able to effectively work on a shared codebase with software engineers.
  • Experience in regulated industries (legal, compliance, finance, insurance).

What We Offer

  • Founding impact: Shape not just your role but the company’s GTM engine.
  • Backed to grow: Fresh off a £3m seed round, we have the capital to scale globally.
  • Top‑tier team: Work with founders and leaders with 50+ years of AI, automation, and enterprise transformation experience.
  • Category‑defining work: Help build the AI workflow layer for regulated industries.
  • A collaborative environment that promotes growth, learning, and development.

Diversity & Inclusion

At Curvestone we don’t just accept differences, we celebrate it, we support it and we thrive on it for the benefit of our employees, our clients and our services. We are an equal‑opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive equal consideration for employment without regard to age, ancestry, colour, family or medical care leave, gender identity or expression, marital status, national origin, physical or mental disability, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations and ordinances.
