We're looking for a Social Creative Producer to come and join us at Curveball, working with our clients in sport.
WHO ARE CURVEBALL?
We're an award-winning Social Creative Agency specialising in sports production, social media and content strategy. We started as a two (Paddy and Kev) with a passion for storytelling and how social media can bring fans closer to the action and their heroes. In previous roles, they developed content series and social campaigns around the world's biggest sporting events, and for almost four years they've been helping brands, rightsholders and federations reach more people through content made for social. We're now a team of 10 with some big nominations and awards, a new office and a team creating promos, branded content, short-form social features, and both long and short-form content for big brands, sports organisations and agencies. We cover a wide range of content all over the world too and get to go to some amazing events!
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We believe that content for social should always be created with a clear purpose and that understanding why someone would engage with what you're creating is the key to success. So we’re looking for someone with the same enthusiasm as us to join our journey to greatness. In social and sport, it's vital to be pro-active and always planning for the next big moment. The Social Creative Producer will be always looking for opportunities to make something different, be a meticulous planner and someone who isn't just on top of trends, but creating their own. Most importantly, the right person will be able to engage an audience in a 10-second video or piece of Hero Artwork as well as they can in a 10-minute feature or challenge.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, PLEASE PROVIDE EXAMPLES IN APPLICATION
- Pro-active mindset who is always looking to get a step ahead and plan for the next big project
- Expert understanding of social media, including why people engage with content and how they use certain platforms, specifically in sport
- Using that knowledge to create planned and reactive creative content for social
- 3+ years experience managing creative content strategy and production for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat
- Ability to plan ahead and create content campaigns for social media as well as create or commission world-class reactive content for short turnaround projects
- Understanding and ability to use relevant Adobe Creative Cloud apps
- Experience using quantitative and qualitative analytics to produce social media reports for clients
- Deep knowledge of and passion for sport
DAY-TO-DAY TASKS
- Analysing the industry for opportunities and reporting back to the Senior team
- Developing long and short-term social media strategies for our clients’ channels
- Conceptualising and developing video, design and campaign ideas for clients
- Commissioning creative content to meet client / project demands
- Creating industry-leading content for clients and campaigns
- Working with wider team to improve their knowledge of social media trends and in turn improving the content we create at Curveball Digital
- Overseeing publishing of content across clients social media channels by in-house and freelance network
- On-location work for client events and competitions
