Role Purpose

You’re an exceptional Android developer who seeks better ways to code and improve interaction. You understand why popular apps work and what makes them effective, and you’re eager to own and build best‐in‐class features for Curve.

What you’ll be doing

  • Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to design, build and ship quality features.
  • Develop highly innovative consumer‐facing features with best‐in‐class programming skills.
  • Champion small details, spot opportunities and add value beyond standard duties.
  • Fix bugs and improve application performance.
  • Stay close to the user and iterate fast with the team.
  • Mentor other developers and sustain robust engineering practices.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience shipping apps to the Play Store.
  • Proficiency in building secure, scalable, high‐performance Android apps in Kotlin.
  • Monitoring and debugging app performance using appropriate tools.
  • Writing unit, integration, UI and other tests.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong grasp of design patterns and SOLID principles.
  • Familiarity with core Android components (Activities, Fragments, Services, Content Providers, Broadcast Receivers, lifecycles).
  • Knowledge of popular third‐party libraries and services.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaboration with backend engineers to define mobile‐friendly services.
  • Building multi‐module apps.
