Role Purpose
Youâre an exceptional Android developer who seeks better ways to code and improve interaction. You understand why popular apps work and what makes them effective, and youâre eager to own and build bestâinâclass features for Curve.
What youâll be doing
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams to design, build and ship quality features.
- Develop highly innovative consumerâfacing features with bestâinâclass programming skills.
- Champion small details, spot opportunities and add value beyond standard duties.
- Fix bugs and improve application performance.
- Stay close to the user and iterate fast with the team.
- Mentor other developers and sustain robust engineering practices.
What youâll bring
- Experience shipping apps to the Play Store.
- Proficiency in building secure, scalable, highâperformance Android apps in Kotlin.
- Monitoring and debugging app performance using appropriate tools.
- Writing unit, integration, UI and other tests.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong grasp of design patterns and SOLID principles.
- Familiarity with core Android components (Activities, Fragments, Services, Content Providers, Broadcast Receivers, lifecycles).
- Knowledge of popular thirdâparty libraries and services.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaboration with backend engineers to define mobileâfriendly services.
- Building multiâmodule apps.
