Based at St John’s RC High School, you will work full time, 35 hours per week as a Teacher of Music.

Requirements:

  • GTCS Registered (Secondary).
  • Knowledge of the relevant curriculum area and awareness of the main current issues in Scottish education.
  • Required to apply for RC Church approval at the same time as submitting your application form.
  • Expected to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment by Dundee City Council.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality education to assigned pupils.
  • Contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.
  • Demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and evidence of appropriate professional learning.
  • Maintain a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people, with good communication/interpersonal skills.
