The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

Based at Morgan Academy one position available, or Baldragon Academy one permanent or one temporary, or Greenfield Academy two positions available, or Harris Academy three positions, two permanent and one temporary, all full‑time, 35 hrs per week. Please indicate your preference on application.

Please indicate in your application questionnaire if you are available now and have full GTCS registration or for August 2026 pending full GTCS registration.

Requirements

  • You will be GTCS Registered (Secondary) in August 2026.
  • Have knowledge of relevant curriculum areas and an awareness of main current issues in Scottish education.
  • Applications will be accepted from teachers who are currently provisionally registered with the GTCS and who expect to gain full registration at the end of this current session.
  • You will also be required to obtain RC Church approval.

  • You will deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within the collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school.

  • You will demonstrate application and knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence and have evidence of appropriate Professional Learning in a range of areas.
  • You will have a positive and caring approach and commitment to young people.
  • Have good communication/interpersonal skills and relate well to others.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will require to join the PVG Scheme to undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
