Location: Morgan Academy

Position: Temporary; 28 or 30 hours per week, term time only until July 2026.

Based at Morgan Academy, you will work 28 or 30 hours per week, term time only on a temporary basis until July 2026. Please indicate on application your preference.

Requirements:

  • 3 National 4s (or equivalent) to include English and Maths.
  • Current first aid certificate.
  • Food hygiene qualification or willingness to gain one.

Responsibilities:

As part of a cohesive support team, you will provide practical and clerical support throughout the school day, within the school office and practical subject departments.

Individual Profile:

You will have relevant experience in a busy office (phones/reception, email, printing), working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience working with young people or customers. You will possess good written and verbal communication skills, maintain confidentiality, work as part of a team, operate with minimal supervision and be willing to undertake training.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
