The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 £ per year.
You will be based at Drumgeith Campus working an average of 37 hours per week, which includes evening and weekend working. Your hours follow a four-week rota with a requirement to work every second weekend (Saturday 8:45am-6:15pm and Sunday 8:45am-1:15pm). In alternate weeks, you will work two or three weekday evenings. A shift allowance of 12.5% is paid in addition to the salary advertised.
Requirements
- You will have 3 National 4s equivalent (including English) or relevant experience of working in an office environment.
Responsibilities
- You will assist in the provision of an efficient, responsive, supportive and courteous service to users of the Community Campus, including security and safety aspects, routine minor maintenance and carry out other relevant duties, as required.
- To ensure an effective and efficient administrative and clerical support, including having an oversight of the booking system for the campus.
- You will liaise with and co-ordinate information from staff throughout the school/campus as well as outside agencies and partners accessing the campus.
- You will provide personal support for the Campus Leader/Head Teacher, Campus Business Manager and members of The School and Campus Leadership Team.
The Individual
- You will have experience working in a modern office along with experience of inputting, maintenance and retrieval of information from various IT software systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Office 365, Word and Excel.
- Knowledge of change management, good oral and written communication skills, numeric and organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines is essential.
- You will be able to keep up to date and undertake training as required.
- You will be able to work shifts including unsociable hours.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
