Based at St Andrew's Primary School, you will work part time, 32.5 hours per week, term time only.

Requirements:

  • You will have 3 National 5's to include English and Maths.

Responsibilities:

  • You will provide an efficient and effective administrative, clerical, financial and support service for the school, including workload distribution, reception, word processing/information processing; making full use of appropriate computer systems and software.
  • As part of the Corporate Business Support Service, you will work with the Locality Support Officers and Administrative colleagues to improve process and practices, to achieve efficiencies.

The Individual:

  • You will have experience of working in a modern office, word processing, record keeping and general admin and clerical duties.
  • The ability to handle cash and maintain financial records as well as good communication skills, both written and oral are essential.
  • You will be willing to undertake additional training and train other staff.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
