Working in a hybrid style, based at home and 2 days per week in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
Requirements:
- You will have 5 National 5s, at level 2 or above, including English and Maths, or equivalent; or relevant experience of working within a Benefit Delivery Team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Under relevant degrees of supervision, you will undertake as part of a team, duties relating to the billing and collection of Council Tax and the administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax Reduction, Educational Benefits and Discretionary Hardship Payments.
The Individual:
- Are you customer focused, can guide, support and assist customers through sensitive and challenging situations?
- Comfortable and experienced using computer systems including Microsoft Office.
- Do you have good communication skills and are a team player?
- Have an awareness of Data Protection, good attention to detail and analytical skills?
- Can you work flexibly, prioritise and manage your workload with minimum supervision?
