Overview
Animal Care Assistant at Curve Style, based at Brown Street Kennels, Dundee. You will be part of a City Development team responsible for the efficient operation of Brown Street Kennels. You will provide cover for holidays and sickness and predominantly work at weekends with weekend hours and on public holidays as required. There is no obligation to offer or accept work when available.

- You will be responsible for the efficient carrying out of duties in connection with the care of the dogs at Brown Street Kennels.
Requirements
- You will have a good general education.
- You will have some experience working with dogs/animals in a closed environment and experience in dealing with members of the public face to face and in possible confrontational situations.
- You will have good oral communication, numeracy and interpersonal skills.
- You will have confidence in dealing with dogs and have good cleaning and timekeeping skills.
- You must be available to work at short notice, particularly weekends/public holidays.
Work pattern
Hours (approximate): Saturdays 08:30–13:45; Sundays 10:30–13:30; single public holidays 10:30–13:30; multiple public holidays 08:30–13:15. Weekday hours (if required) are Monday to Friday 08:36–16:30, depending on staffing levels. When work is available you will be contacted.
