A national M&E Contractor is looking for a motivated and committed Telemetry Project Manager/Engineer to join their team in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

As the Project Manager / Engineer you will be delivering telemetry and associated electrical works across multiple water utility sites throughout the region.

The position is predominantly office based but will require frequent travel across East Anglia to carry out client meetings, surveys, inspections and audits.

  • As the Telemetry Project Manager / Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:
  • Liaison with clients, suppliers, delivery teams and management.
  • Survey, design and pricing against client requirements and sector standards.
  • Specification and ordering of materials.
  • Preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
  • Management and briefing of installation teams.
  • Resolving installation and access issues.
  • Completion and submission of as-installed documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys and audits across the region.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure works are delivered to the required standards and timescales.
  • Financial management of projects including invoicing and reporting.
  • Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Proven experience in a Project Manager, Project Engineer or similar role.
  • Experience of telemetry systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience working within the water utility sector would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of industrial or commercial electrical systems.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Effective planning and project management skills.
  • Good communication and people management skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet set deadlines.
  • The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
  • Additional qualifications or relevant industry experience would be advantageous.
