Curve Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a well-established construction contractor in their search for an experienced Forklift Driver to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a long-term position with a reputable employer offering a competitive package, excellent benefits and ongoing training and development. The successful candidate will be directly employed and will receive a monthly salary, 25 days annual leave, an auto-enrolment pension scheme and role-specific training where required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating a forklift safely and efficiently on busy construction sites.
  • Loading, unloading and transporting materials around site.
  • Assisting with the movement of slung loads where required.
  • Carrying out daily equipment checks and reporting any defects.
  • Supporting site logistics to ensure materials are available where needed.
  • Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
  • Working closely with site management and other trades to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You

  • Previous experience operating forklifts on construction sites.
  • Basic Forklift qualification (essential).
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work certificate.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to work.
  • Strong references demonstrating reliability and safe working practices.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Package

  • £15.00 - £17.00 per hour
  • £100 weekly bonus (subject to attendance, no accidents and meeting performance criteria)
