Curve Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a leading main contractor who are seeking an experienced Night Site Manager to oversee a major retail refurbishment project in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile scheme on a long-term contract, with the project expected to run for a minimum of 10 months.

Responsibilities

  • Managing all night shift site operations from commencement through to completion.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out safely and in accordance with health and safety legislation.
  • Coordinating subcontractors, trades and direct labour during night-time working hours.
  • Monitoring programme progress and ensuring works are delivered to schedule.
  • Maintaining high standards of quality control and site presentation.
  • Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials associated with refurbishment works.
  • Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and shift briefings.
  • Producing daily progress reports and ensuring effective handovers to the wider project team.
  • Identifying and resolving site issues proactively to maintain programme milestones.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering retail refurbishment, fit-out or fast-track construction projects as a Site Manager.
  • Previous experience managing projects within live retail environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and site management procedures.
  • SMSTS essential.
  • Valid CSCS and First Aid qualifications required.
  • Ability to work night shifts throughout the duration of the project.
