A regional M&E Contractor is looking for an experienced Commercial Plumber to join their growing Small Works team.
The successful candidate will carry out installation and quoted works on a variety of small projects, working on a range of plumbing systems within commercial, education and healthcare environments across Cambridgeshire.
As a Commercial Plumber, you will ensure that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the satisfaction of the client.
As a Commercial Plumber, you will have the following responsibilities
- Install hot and cold water pipework, sanitaryware, valves and associated plumbing systems.
- Carry out alterations, upgrades and refurbishment works across a range of commercial buildings.
- Carry out small installation, remedial and maintenance works as required.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with relevant plumbing regulations, Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Complete all relevant job sheets, certification and documentation accurately and on time.
- Liaise professionally with clients, Project Managers and other trades on site.
- Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
- Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of commercial plumbing systems and their installation methods.
- Experience working within a similar environment including commercial, education and healthcare.
- Experience working on hot and cold water systems, pipework, valves and sanitaryware.
- Good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Relevant plumbing qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- CSCS card.
- Unvented Hot Water qualification would be desirable.
