They deliver results to industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Foods, Beverage, Automotive, and Aerospace.
About the role:
- To provide support for stores at client sites as directed by the Client Resource Manager
- To ensure the continual provision of high levels service delivery whilst on site with minimal impact to client operations
Key responsibilities:
- To provide cover for Stores personnel
- To receipt deliveries and put stock away in pre-determined storage locations
- To issue stock products
- To assist clients in the selection of goods, advising where applicable alternatives that reduce overall costs
- To initiate and conclude all customer/vendor returns
- To conduct rotational stock checks as required
- To maintain the stores standards to Opex requirements
- To train and develop Store envoys as required for the needs of the business
- To share best practices with sites when covering
- To complete a handover document for the Envoy's return
Candidate requirements:
- Excellent client facing and attention to detail skills
- Good working knowledge of stores and inventory management
- Good understanding of Microsoft packages
- Knowledge of SAP
- Full driving licence
- Forklift Truck License
- Knowledge of Industrial Consumables/MRO market and engineering products
- Basic general PC skills and knowledge (Microsoft programmes)
- Previous experience in a commercial, distribution, industrial or engineering environment
