We are looking for a Production Planner to join our Sensors Division at our state-of-the-art facility by Bournemouth Airport. In this role, you will be responsible for achieving internal and external service levels satisfying total demands and ensuring efficient utilization of available resources. You will have a proven production manufacturing background, outstanding communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Your Challenge:

  • Working closely with other Curtiss Wright sites to ensure the free flow of parts and communication.
  • Representing customers' needs to ensure the organization is aware of these with regard to delivery and product needs.
  • Interacting with dispatch and invoicing to ensure timely dispatch of goods is possible.
  • Monitoring and maintaining internal systems to ensure stable and accurate demand.
  • Ensuring processes are followed that maintain accurate records and traceability.
  • Conducting activities in line with the organization's Quality and Health & Safety requirements at all times.
  • Supporting supply chain through analytical control and updating of data/plans in relation to materials, cell resource, operation and inventory activity.
  • Interacting with various departments ensuring high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working within operating budgets, achieving cost-effectiveness savings where possible.
  • Suggesting, implementing and driving solutions to improve the manufacturing system when needed.

Your Expertise:

  • Knowledge and experience of production planning, account management, data entry and attention to detail.
  • Experience with and a demonstrable knowledge of MRP and inventory control system(s).
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate confidently with all levels across the business.
  • Ability to liaise between all teams to ensure effective and efficient use of resources.
  • Experience in a production control environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organization and problem-solving skills; a strong team player.
  • Excellent computer skills including intermediate Excel is a must.
