We are seeking a Systems Team Lead to join our advanced facility near Bournemouth International Airport. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to customer acceptance. Responsibilities: Define system architecture based on required functionalities. Develop and maintain system requirement specifications and interface design documents. Create system integration, verification, and acceptance test procedures. Participate in system and subsystem testing, and generate test reports. Support development to ensure system requirements are met. Develop qualification plans and support qualification activities. Provide technical oversight of subcontracted developments and acceptances. Maintain current technical knowledge and apply it to design solutions. Support continuous improvement of engineering processes. Assist in certification activities for company products. Ensure timely completion of tasks per project plans. Accept technical responsibility for assigned design tasks. Contribute to lifecycle design reviews and coordinate entry/exit criteria. Mentor and develop system engineers. Define work packages for project planning and bidding, and generate reports. Your Expertise: Experience in requirements elicitation and understanding good requirement practices. Proven track record in systems engineering across the development lifecycle. Ability to produce formal project documentation. Knowledge of validation and verification methodologies. Degree/HND in a relevant field, or equivalent experience. Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS. Knowledge of standards like ARP4754, DO-254, DO-178, DO-326, DO-160, ED112a is desirable.
