We are looking for a Handfinisher to join our Ogden team. As our Handfinisher you will control the high-power CNC laser equipment for the purpose of laser peening materials.
You will set up equipment, monitor laser parameters, utilize precision metallic tape, and follow detailed process instructions.
This is a great opportunity for an entry level machine operator professional who would like to learn about laser technology.
Location: Ogden, UT
Shift
Morning Shift 6:00 AM -2:30 PM
Swing Shift 2:30 PM- 10:00 PM

Your Challenge
- Operate CNC laser equipment with a high level of accuracy and quality with minimal supervision
- Accurately follow and interpret detailed process instructions
- Ability to change over the equipment to match the specifications required for the job
- Assist in the job training of fellow operators
- Load parts onto robots
- Record process data
- Applying and removing precision metallic tape required for the laser peening process
What You Bring
- Experience with lasers, robotics, or CNC type equipment is preferred
- Ability to read, understand and follow detailed instructions
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to obtain a DOD security clearance
