We are looking for an Executive Assistant to join our Christchurch Team! Supporting our VP/General Manager for the Curtiss-Wright Defense Business Unit, you will provide advanced administrative and business management support while remaining involved in the business and a true ambassador inside and outside of the company.

Your Challenge:
- Agenda preparation and Minute taking
- Arranging and coordinating meetings, training events, SLT off-site meetings (both on and off site), annual Apprentice award dinner – working to a budget, negotiating rates, etc.
- Hosting Quarterly Employee Staff Briefings, coordinating inputs for the slide deck, arranging comms on-line as well as on site
- Assist with preparation of PowerPoint presentations (Strategic Planning, Staff Presentations, etc.)
- Check and respond to emails in a timely fashion for VP/GM when off site
- Comprehensive travel arrangements for VP/GM and SLT (flights, hotel, local taxis, visas)
- Diary management for VP/GM
- Ensure facilities are maintained (printers, stationery, etc.)
- Generating weekly, monthly reports and ensuring deadlines are met
- Maintain VP/GM Outlook calendar is updated with Senior Leadership Team holidays, periods of OOO
- Prepare & balance expenses using Concur for VP/GM (Company Credit Card)
- Maintaining “Action Lists”– monitoring responses, issuing follow-ups on behalf of the VP/GM
- Screening calls and correspondence
- Setting up conference calls and Teams
- Administration for VP/GM and his SLT by way of WD
- Support International visitors: Proxy-Click entry, prepare agenda, order catering, book conference room making sure documents/presentations completed
- Update/maintain the Red Box
What You Bring:
- Computer literacy with a comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Concur, Workday, Vision, SharePoint and Outlook applications.
- Excellent typing skills.
- Previous senior Executive Assistant experience in similar high-level role
- Excellent interpersonal skills - the ability to communicate confidently and persuasively with a wide variety of people both internal and external, up to the most senior levels within Curtiss-Wright, in order to build good professional and personal relationships.
- Excellent organizational skills. The ability to work under pressure and use considerable initiative to meet strict deadlines.
- The ability to work closely with the VP/GM; to understand objectives and way of working and to enable provision of informed support across a wide range of activities.
- An extremely professional attitude is required, as is the integrity necessary when dealing with confidential information.
- Highly self-motivated and the ability to work with minimum supervision.
