Responsibilities
- Internal and external stakeholder management to drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales lifecycle.
- Own and manage a rolling three‑year forecast to accurately deliver Order Intake for future business planning.
- Manage large, established accounts across Europe and identify and create opportunities for future sales and growth.
- Work closely with Bid Management to lead and coordinate bid activity.
- Communicate and meet with a wide range of account stakeholders and develop & maintain face‑to‑face relationships with customers.
- Travel overseas as required (likely a few times a month).
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, including creation and management of account plans and strategies for targeted customers.
- Understand requirements from end users and relevant stakeholders, acting as the voice of the customer within the company.
- Manage and support established business/customers to enable retention and ensure full penetration of the account.
Qualifications
- Past relative experience selling to or working with Defence and Aerospace OEMs who supply radars, aircraft electronic systems, electronic warfare or mechanised land armoured vehicles (desired).
- Proven track record of sales/orders success in a competitive military/commercial aerospace or military land environment.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and the proven ability to foster discipline and generate/create bidding opportunities with major OEM accounts.
- Past dealings as a supplier with Airbus, Thales, Leonardo and other major OEMs (highly desired).
- Proven record in managing large sales accounts, with 7 to 10 years of Sales Account Management experience.
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate complex, multi‑national accounts.
