We are recruiting for an Audit Senior to join the expanding team of a successful and growing accountancy firm. The ideal candidate will be a qualified, client focussed auditor with previous experience of leading audit assignments from planning to completion.

As Audit Senior your responsibilities will include:
- Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensure audit files contain all necessary documentation, properly organised in the appropriate sections
- Analyse accounting data from client records, providing insights and recommendations
- Oversee and ensure compliance with regulatory, audit methodology, and risk management requirements
- Build and nurture strong relationships with both new and established clients and address client queries promptly and professionally
- Identify and understand client needs, offering tailored solutions and executing them effectively
- Mentor and support junior team members, answering questions and ensuring high-quality work
- Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely client files and audits
- Deliver client work in adherence to legal and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review client documents, including accounts, tax filings, PAYE, and VAT submissions, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Plan workloads effectively to meet deadlines and prepare work for sign-off

- Good general IT skills and knowledge of accounting and audit software
- Excellent communication skills
