This is a highly desirable hybrid Audit & Accounts Senior role with a growing, award-winning, forward-thinking, independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors. You will be offered a competitive salary, depending upon experience, hybrid working after the probationary period, 29 days annual leave including bank holidays, pension, and flexible benefits. Core hours are 9am to 5.15pm, with 1 hour for lunch.
The firm has a broad client base of over 800 clients, ranging from high-net-worth individuals, charities, and smaller businesses to large corporations. This Audit & Accounts Senior role will be split approximately 60/40 audit/accounts and would suit a newly qualified individual with audit experience or someone part-qualified looking for their step up into a more senior role.
As Audit & Accounts Senior, mentored by the senior leadership team, your responsibilities will include:
- Working with a varied and impressive client portfolio, providing accounts and audit services (audits up to Β£200m turnover)
- Supporting the audit manager with external audits from planning to completion
- Preparation/review of statutory accounts
- Attending client meetings
- Assisting with the management of less experienced team members and trainees
- Assisting and providing advice on technical queries
- Assisting with business development and maintaining outstanding relationships with current and new clients
