The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.

We are recruiting for an Audit Manager on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice based on the outskirts of Bicester. The firm offers a full range of services to a varied client base, from sole traders and SMEs through to much larger companies.

As Audit Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for clients, liaising with them, communicating with them effectively throughout the audit cycle
  • Managing teams through the planning, fieldwork and completion of audit engagements
  • Monitoring budgets and keeping the partner updated on progress
  • Manage and mentor junior team members with the ability to give constructive feedback
  • Statutory accounts preparation
  • Ensuring the effective and timely delivery of engagements
  • Assist in tendering for new clients
  • Maintaining and developing client relationships, both written communication and conducting face to face meetings
  • Ensuring the firms processes and technical standards are maintained
  • Continue developing your technical skills in all areas of the accounting and auditing standards
  • Other ad hoc duties in line with business requirements

Please do apply if you have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Fully ACA or ACCA qualified with experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
  • Have a minimum of 2-4 years experience of managing audits and audit teams
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102
  • Proven experience in working to tight deadlines and time management
  • Ability to build strong relationships with staff and clients5
  • An aptitude for teamwork and problem solving
  • Good general IT skills with experience with accounting and audit software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
