A well-established, leading accountancy firm is recruiting for an Audit & Accounts Senior to join the friendly firm in a role that is likely to be a split of 60/40 towards audit. This firm will provide an authentic working environment where both employees and clients can flourish and enjoy mutual success. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the firm’s significant 5-year growth plans and will receive a competitive salary, depending upon experience, a good benefits package, hybrid working and opportunities to build on existing skills and career progression.
As Audit & Accounts Senior your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out statutory audits and accounting work for clients, ensuring that partners and senior managers are kept adequately informed of progress on all engagements.
- Liaise directly with clients throughout engagements to ensure outstanding client service is provided, ensuring that positive and harmonious professional relations are maintained while managing the effective completion of work assignments.
- Support trainees with their learning and development, co-ordinating work assignments, providing advice and performance feedback in a constructive manner and helping them to become effective and productive members of the team.
