We are recruiting for a Tax Senior to join a well-established accountancy practice in Camberley. This is predominantly a personal tax role carrying out compliance work and giving tax planning advice to clients; however, the successful candidate will also undertake some corporate tax, VAT, and capital gains tax work. Reporting to the Tax Manager, as Tax Senior your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on, and compliance work in Income Tax, and ideally Corporate Tax, VAT, P11D, Form 42, and Capital Gains Tax
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Preparing personal and partnership tax returns
- Maintaining working knowledge of the impact on tax in respect of changes to accounting standards and guidelines
- Following existing systems, updating them, and developing new ones as appropriate

- ATT qualified; exceptional qualified by experience candidates and those with other accountancy qualifications will be considered
- Previous experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
- Extensive Personal Tax experience; some experience in Corporate Tax and Capital Gains Tax would be an advantage
- Up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation
- Accurate attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Organised and capable of managing several tasks simultaneously
- Good general IT experience with IRIS software knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
