On behalf of a successful accountancy practice, we are recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager to join the dynamic and friendly team. This is a great opportunity to join a firm that can offer excellent career progression opportunity whilst further developing your skills. Responsibilities

  • Managing and undertaking statutory audits from planning to completion
  • Take responsibility for the management of the audit and the team to ensure completion within the agreed budget
  • Acting as the principal contact for the client during the on-site fieldwork
  • Delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
  • Supervising audit teams on site, reviewing the work of the team and contributing towards the development of junior team members
  • Managing and leading assurance and risk management projects – liaising with clients and preparing client reports

Qualifications

  • ACA / ACCA qualified with at least 1-2 years post qualified experience
  • Significant experience gained within a UK accountancy practice environment
  • Be fully up to date with UK audit and accounting standards
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under own initiative and to tight deadlines
  • Have good general IT skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in managing and nurturing junior team members
