Our client is recruiting for a Tax Trainee to join its dynamic, well-established firm of Chartered Accountants & Chartered Tax Advisers in Coventry. The ideal candidate will have already started studying towards the ACCA, CTA or ATT qualification and have at least one years’ experience gained within a UK accountancy practice or tax environment. Your core focus will be managing end-to-end tax return preparation and processing, from basic compliance work through to a diverse range of tax advisory and specialized probate work. As Tax Trainee your responsibilities will include: * Preparing personal and business tax returns for a varied client portfolio. * Collating and reviewing client financial records, income details, and tax documentation. * Assisting senior staff with tax advisory projects, research, and technical query resolution. * Supporting compliance and administrative workflows across tax and probate engagements. * Acting as a proactive point of contact for client queries.
