Job purpose

Your primary responsibility will be to build and prepare upholstered components such as headboards and stools in a variety of different fabrics.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Foaming headboards and stools
  • Tacking off leathers, vinyls and other fabrics that are within our range
  • Assisting experienced upholsterers with furniture repairs and upholstery work
  • Measuring, cutting, and preparing fabrics and materials
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment
  • Learning traditional and modern upholstery techniques

Essential Skills:

  • Have an eye for detail and a passion to produce high quality work
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
