We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team in Leeds. We are well known locally for working on projects like: Tetley Brewery redevelopment, Wellington Place masterplan, Dyecoats on Kirkstall Road, as well as many other high-profile mixed-use city centre developments. We also work for a number of education establishments and local healthcare Trusts, including our current work on the £1bn new Airedale Hospital scheme for Airedale NHS Foundation Trust.
The role will involve independently leading on the delivery of a wide variety of project types, including client liaison, financial management and quality management. You will also be supporting and mentoring other engineers and technicians in the development of our design and project information.
The Right Fit
You will have experience of leading and managing some projects; including developing design delivery programmes ensuring that the project team are always in communication and schedules and resources are planned appropriately. Ideal experience will include:
- Concept and detailed design for Sustainable drainage systems
- Good working knowledge of civil3d for drainage networks
- Comfortable liaising with authorities and design teams
It would be advantageous to have:
- Bulk earthworks experience
- Experience of flood risk assessments
