The Role

Geotechnical Engineer – Leeds.

We are looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Leeds. This role involves producing high‑quality technical reports, developing ground models and design parameters, conducting geotechnical analysis of foundations and related structures, occasional site supervision of investigations and construction, and ensuring all activities comply with Curtins’ procedures and the highest safety, health and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Produce clear, high‑quality technical reports.
• Develop ground models and design parameters.
• Conduct geotechnical analysis of foundations and related structures.
• Occasionally supervise site investigations and construction (including earthworks).
• Maintain compliance with Curtins’ procedures and safety, health and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or a related discipline (or equivalent); master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering desirable.
• Good understanding of engineering geology and geotechnics, with earthworks supervision skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent written skills for technical reports; strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and a consistent focus on health and safety.
