We are looking for an Experienced Structural Technician to join our team in Glasgow. We are well known locally for our work in the education, MOJ and healthcare sectors designing new hospitals, university buildings and new developments on existing sites, our projects can range in value from 2-100+ million. You will have responsibility for delivering a wide variety of project types, including direct liaison with external parties to establish project BIM requirements and to coordinate modelled information on a day-to-day basis. You will take a lead role in quality management across all projects and contribute to the continuing advancement of digital delivery at Curtins. You will also have other technicians reporting to you and be responsible for managing resources and coaching individuals one-to-one to help them achieve their development goals.
Someone who has experience of delivering project work under limited or no supervision, who is skilled in using Revit to visualise building structures for our clients and has a good understanding and experience in applying BIM level 2 standards. Above all the right fit will be guided by what is right when making decisions, who recognises the contribution of others and shares their successes.
