We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Civil & Structural team in Birmingham as part of the multi‑disciplinary growth of the office. Our team is working on a diverse portfolio of multi‑million pound projects across sectors in the Midlands and beyond with a focus on education, healthcare, residential development, and urban regeneration. The role is for an experienced structural engineer with demonstrable client and people management skills to be part of the overall team success.

You will be a highly experienced structural engineer, chartered with a relevant professional institution, with a strong track record in managing people and delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical: Ensure technical excellence in the delivery of projects across the team.
  • Lead Projects: Manage projects and ensure effective communication with the team.
  • Client Engagement: Represent the company at meetings with clients, collaborators, architects, and contractors.
  • Quality Management: Follow and enable the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) processes on all projects.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources efficiently within the team.
  • Training and Development: Provide technical support and training to team members.
