We’re inviting applications for an experienced, work-winning Associate to help develop the Birmingham Transport Planning team in support of our growth ambitions. The successful candidate would take a leading role in the next chapter for our transport planning specialism, working closely with our long-established and stable team based in Liverpool.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Prioritising the development and nurturing of client relationships within the Birmingham and wider West Midlands regional property market.
- Actively leading revenue growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Financial responsibility for projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality transport planning solutions.
- Being a positive role model for Curtins while providing support and mentorship to others.
- Building a team with support from transport planning colleagues in the North, to complement our existing Civils & Structures and Geo Environmental Engineering expertise in Birmingham.
The ideal person will:
- Hold a relevant degree and professional chartership (or equivalent qualification).
- Excel in developing and nurturing client relationships, securing new business opportunities, and managing project delivery effectively.
- Actively seek opportunities through existing and new contacts and be well-connected within the property sector in Birmingham.
- Have the drive and passion to grow the business and a team.
- Have significant experience at a senior level in transport planning, demonstrating technical excellence and in-depth knowledge of transport and highway issues related to Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Environmental Statements, masterplanning, and highway design.
- Be adept at managing project finances and contributing to overall business performance and growth.
