A leading international law firm is looking to appoint a Tax Disputes Associate (4+ PQE) to join its highly regarded London practice, offering the opportunity to work on some of the most complex and high-profile contentious tax matters in the market.
The successful candidate will join a specialist team acting on sophisticated tax disputes across the full disputes lifecycle – from strategic risk management and dispute prevention through to active litigation and appeals. The practice is particularly recognised for handling complex, precedent-setting matters and advises a broad client base including multinational corporates, financial institutions, private capital clients and high-net-worth individuals.
The team has extensive experience acting on contentious tax matters at every level of the courts and tribunals system, including the First-tier Tribunal, Upper Tribunal, High Court proceedings (including restitution and judicial review hearings), Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, Privy Council and the Court of Justice of the European Union. This offers an exceptional platform for lawyers seeking exposure to technically challenging work with genuine depth and variety.
The ideal candidate would:
- Have at least 4+ years’ PQE and strong experience in tax disputes, investigations and litigation.
