The practice is particularly well known for its strength across digital media, entertainment and technology, advising an enviable client base that includes global brands, content creators, platforms, rights holders and high-growth digital businesses.

This is a role for a lawyer who wants to sit at the intersection of technology, media and entertainment. The team advises on the full lifecycle of IP-driven projects – from development and protection through to commercialisation and exploitation – often in fast-moving digital environments. Matters regularly involve digital content distribution, platform agreements, licensing arrangements, brand collaborations and strategic technology partnerships within the media and entertainment ecosystem.

The work spans a broad range of commercial and IP matters, including:

  • Drafting and negotiating complex commercial and digital media agreements
  • IP development, licensing and exploitation strategies
  • Advising on regulatory and compliance issues impacting online and platform-based businesses
  • Supporting technology-enabled media transactions and joint ventures

The successful candidate will gain exposure to high-profile, often cross-border matters and work closely with senior lawyers who are recognised specialists in the Technology, Media & Communications sector. The team combines technical excellence with genuine sector insight, offering associates early responsibility and meaningful client contact.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ PQE from a respected commercial, IP or technology practice
  • Have knowledge of IP, IT, technology and data protection issues in addition to having developed strong general commercial expertise
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness, having strong academics and the ability to operate confidently in a dynamic environment are essential
  • Show confidence in dealing directly with clients

This is an excellent opportunity to build a career within a forward-thinking international firm that is deeply embedded in the digital media and entertainment space, offering high-quality work, clear progression and competitive remuneration.
