We are working with a leading London law firm to recruit a talented Senior Associate (5+PQE) to join its highly regarded Policyholder Disputes team. This is a standout opportunity for a junior lawyer to work on complex, high-value insurance disputes acting exclusively for policyholders. The team is widely recognised for its expertise in handling major, often international claims across a broad range of sectors, including financial lines, cyber, property damage, construction, energy, and political risk.
You will be involved in a diverse and intellectually challenging caseload from day one, working closely with market-leading partners and gaining exposure to significant litigation and arbitration matters. The role offers genuine responsibility, leading client contact, and the chance to develop deep technical expertise in a specialist and growing area.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be qualified in England & Wales with at least 5 years’ PQE
- Have experience in insurance disputes (policyholder-side experience beneficial but not essential)
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability, excellent drafting skills, and commercial awareness
- Be motivated to work in a high-performing, collaborative environment
