As a Social Media Executive, you will be responsible for creating daily content for our ever-growing number of Currys Social Media channels.
Key Responsibilities:- Working alongside Social & PR in-house team to independently create content for Currys organic Social channels, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X & Facebook.
- Ideating content from start-to-execution independently, finding creative ways to bring the content & shoot to life.
- Colleague engagement & advocacy– working closely with Content Creator Manager, stores & internal teams to build a colleague pool of creators.
- Independently develop regular content for our other Social accounts (e.g. Gaming + Health & Beauty TikTok) as well as any new store accounts we may choose to launch in the future.
- This role would require regular, ad-hoc travel to stores & other shoot locations at short notice, to ensure we’re being as reactive as we need to be with our content – producing and directing colleagues & actors on the day.
- 1-2 year’s experience creating high-performing organic video & static content for brands (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook & YouTube).
- Up to date with the latest trends & pop-culture moments – you live & breathe Social, in particular TikTok.
- Comfortable appearing on camera where necessary for content.
- Outstanding copywriting skills, with wit at the heart of this.
- Experience using relevant editing tools, e.g. Premiere Pro, Photoshop & in-app (TikTok, CapCut).
- Can-do attitude – able to react & think outside of the box – we’re looking for someone creative, to help push boundaries!
- Willing & able to travel to shoot locations on short notice on occasion, as well as shooting content at home (equipment & tech will of course be provided).
- Strong relationship-building, stakeholder management & people skills.
