The CRM Executive role is responsible for supporting the delivery of the CRM strategy within a dynamic and growing business area from idea through to execution. Your focus will be working on core campaigns and trading activity – engaging our existing customer base with relevant brand messages, product offers and content.
We are passionate about technology, and as the eyes and ears of the customer our role is to champion customer insight across the business to deliver a customer‑centric CRM programme. You will work closely with Customer Data, Analytics & Insight teams as well as agencies, commercial categories & services teams, and all core functions that go into creating hyper‑targeted communication programmes to customers at every stage of their technology lifecycle.
This role is a key point of contact to support various internal/external stakeholders and tech partners on a day‑to‑day basis, to take ownership of the delivery within each of our services customer programmes, ranging from acquisition to renewals, in order to achieve the department and business objectives.
Role overview- Managing the planning, building, scheduling, testing and deployment of all customer campaigns
- Activation and optimisation of our services customer journey workflows, including channels such as email, SMS, direct mail and ad‑hoc microsite activities
- Developing and maintaining a content plan that is aligned to customer needs states, utilising existing content and working with the internal studio and content teams to develop new content as required
- Tracking weekly performance of campaign KPIs against the team targets and communicating the results to the wider CRM team and key internal stakeholders; supporting the CRM manager in monthly reporting meetings
- Ensuring that the creative/positioning of communications is aligned with brand values
- Owning a creative library of promotional and category‑led emails, ensuring content is relevant and up‑to‑date, liaising with category stakeholders for new opportunities and ideas
- Pro‑active thinking on testing plans and gaps in creative within our creative library; managing quarterly plans alongside the CRM manager, ensuring deliverables are met and presenting plans to wider marketing teams
- Championing the CRM campaign delivery process, working closely with various team members to ensure projects are delivered in a timely manner and to their highest possible standard
- Managing initiatives and projects outside of weekly BAU deployment, aimed at increasing CRM commercial performance and retention rates; working with key stakeholders such as data planning, MarTech and studio to develop plans
- Creating audience lists and choosing targeting for supplier‑funded communications, supporting launches of products through email
- Supporting the CRM manager on maintenance and strategy of behavioural trigger emails
- Meticulous attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude to work
- Great communication and organisational skills, with a strong focus on delivery and attention to detail
- Ability to evaluate creative objectively, always championing the customer’s best interests
- Strong interpersonal skills and a self‑motivated, team‑player attitude
- Experience working with external agencies and suppliers
- Experience building and deploying email campaigns
- Experience working with MoveableInk preferable
- Degree or equivalent in relevant field
