Pricing Analyst London (Hybrid Working) Permanent Grade 4

The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the day-to-day delivery of pricing activity ensuring we hold a strong competitive position. Working closely with our Buying, Merchandising and Go to Market teams, they’ll lead the operational activities needed to deliver our pricing and promotions strategy.
The Pricing Analyst will:
- Produce daily price reports to understand key drivers of performance across categories
- Analyse competitor data, recommend price change to ensure a strong competitive position
- Working with our external partner, help develop and improve our product mapping processes and validation – acting as the voice of the customer in this area
- Monitor pricing compliance and our aggregated price position, liaising with category squads to understand reasons for non-compliance and helping identify next steps as appropriate
- Perform scenario analysis and modelling to recommend changes to pricing strategies
- Develop a close working relationship with the business and understand, interpret and improve business processes
- Support and train users on new tools and processes
- Support the day-to-day delivery of pricing activity fully utilising all pricing tools and reports
Required Skills & Experience:
- Ability to find, analyse and triangulate all sources of data available
- Ability to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful and practical solutions
- Ability to communicate those insights in a clear, concise manner both verbal and in writing
- Exquisite attention to detail to ensure zero defect in analysis
- Self-starter with initiative, drive and tenacity
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple resources to a tight project deadline
