With the increase in the number of requests being received, you will be responsible for management of Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) across Currys, ensuring deadlines are consistently met. You'll be working closely with the other areas of the business (People Team, Legal etc) you are the critical link between the business and its statutory obligations under UK GDPR — safeguarding Currys against regulatory and reputational risk. You will be involved in other areas like raising of Purchase Orders and working closely with the wider People Ops and Services team gaining wider exposure across the People team.
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
- Processing of DSARs, ET, ACAS logging, acknowledgements and standard correspondence.
- Tracking and enforcing statutory DSAR deadlines and coordinating with internal teams.
- Providing accurate DSAR management information and reporting as needed.
- Raising of Purchase Orders as requested for the People Services/Ops team.
You will need:
- Previous experience of working within a business team and environment.
- To have good understanding of data importance.
- Experience of Human Resource /Employee Relations process desirable.
- Strong skills in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to tailor messaging across audiences.
- Strong stakeholder management, with sound judgement.
