Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.

Currys B2B is a rapidly growing and strategically important part of the business, with ambitious plans to scale our platforms, services, and partner ecosystem. This plays a key part in enabling that growth, leading the delivery of complex B2B technology change that supports expansion, improves operational efficiency, and strengthens our end‑to‑end customer experience.

As a Lead Delivery Manager in Technology, you will be responsible for delivering high-value, complex initiatives across all areas of technology. You will work in collaboration with the business to understand their needs, drive results and deliver excellence. You will manage risks, issues, and budget, and ensure that initiatives are delivered to schedule, budget, scope, and the highest quality standards. You will also work in a collaborative way with multiple third parties and matrix teams, and foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.

We are seeking someone with strong technology delivery experience within a B2B environment to partner closely with our B2B Commercial, Operations and Transformation teams, delivering a prioritised portfolio of continuous improvement initiatives and project work.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering B2B technology and platform initiatives, particularly those involving customer‑facing tools, integrations, and service enablement, alongside a solid understanding of B2B operational processes such as order management, fulfilment, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the delivery of multiple technology initiatives, ranging from £3-7m, across different domains and platforms.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with the business stakeholders, understand their requirements, and ensure that the initiatives deliver value and meet their expectations.
  • Define and implement the delivery strategy, approach, and plan, ensuring that initiatives follow the best practices and standards of project management.
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, communication, and risks, proactively resolving any issues or conflicts that arise.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the delivery teams, third parties, and other delivery managers, ensuring that dependencies, interdependencies, and integration points are identified and managed.
  • Provide regular and transparent reporting and status updates to senior management and governance boards, escalating any issues or risks that need their attention or intervention.
  • Drive the adoption of agile and lean methodologies, tools, and techniques, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement within the delivery teams and the wider technology function.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate the delivery teams, ensuring they have the skills, capabilities, and support needed to deliver successfully.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex, high‑value technology initiatives across multiple domains and enterprise‑scale platforms, including MuleSoft, Oracle, Salesforce, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience operating within large, complex organisations (e.g. FTSE 250, multinational, or top‑tier professional services), successfully balancing governance, delivery pace, and commercial outcomes.
  • Hands‑on experience working across modern enterprise technology landscapes, applying industry trends and best practice to shape pragmatic delivery decisions.
  • Excellent experience managing and influencing senior stakeholders, including negotiating scope, priorities, funding, and delivery trade‑offs at all organisational levels.
  • Strong experience leading and managing delivery teams, creating strong engagement, accountability, and sustained delivery performance.
  • Experience owning integrated delivery plans, including prioritisation, dependency management, issue resolution, and complex problem solving across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience delivering successfully in ambiguous and fast‑changing environments, adapting delivery approach in response to shifting priorities, risk, and organisational change.
  • Strong experience owning budgets and tracking financial benefits for initiatives exceeding £3m, including forecasting, cost control, and benefits realisation.
  • Excellent experience leading delivery across multi‑vendor ecosystems, including systems integrators, SaaS providers, and specialist partners, with accountability for commercial management and supplier performance.
  • Experience delivering technology change using both agile and waterfall methodologies, applying informed judgement to tailor approach based on risk, complexity, and regulatory context.
  • Relevant experience delivering in regulated and/or high‑risk environments, maintaining operational stability, managing customer impact, and ensuring compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
