The CRM Insight & Data Planning Manager plays a key role in driving the performance and strategic value of CRM across the customer lifecycle. Working at the intersection of data, insight and customer engagement, you will ensure CRM decisions are powered by accurate data, meaningful insights and robust measurement frameworks. Partnering closely with CRM, Finance, Data and Commercial teams, you will shape audience strategies, optimise campaign performance, identify growth opportunities and demonstrate CRM's contribution to commercial outcomes. You'll also champion data governance, reporting excellence and the adoption of new technologies and insight tools to help iD Mobile become an increasingly data‑driven business.

Role overview

  • Lead CRM insight and data planning activity, using customer, commercial and performance data to inform audience strategies, campaign planning, forecasting and lifecycle optimisation.
  • Own CRM reporting, KPI measurement and insight frameworks, ensuring CRM performance is accurately tracked, communicated and linked to revenue, customer value and business growth opportunities.
  • Manage CRM data processes, governance and compliance, overseeing data quality, consent management, data ingestion and regulatory requirements to ensure responsible and effective use of customer data.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams including CRM, Finance, Data and Commercial functions to support strategic decision‑making, business cases, ROI measurement and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive innovation across CRM insight and analytics, leading data projects and encouraging the adoption of AI and self‑service reporting tools to improve efficiency and decision‑making.

Responsibilities

  • Significant experience within CRM, customer insight or data planning roles, with a strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing and campaign performance.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including audience segmentation, data management and campaign measurement.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate actionable insights and translate findings into business recommendations.
  • Experience developing reporting frameworks, KPI measurement and forecasting models that drive commercial decision‑making and performance improvement.
  • Good understanding of data governance, GDPR, consent management and the compliant use of customer data.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple business functions.
  • Experience with analytics and data platforms such as Databricks, Google Analytics or similar, with an interest in AI‑driven insight and reporting solutions.
  • Experience within mobile, telecoms, retail or subscription‑based businesses would be advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' CRM experience or 3+ years in an Insight/Data role with demonstrable CRM campaign knowledge.
