Senior Change Manager – Waterloo (Hybrid)
Currys plc is seeking a Senior Change Manager to support our multi‑year technology transformation agenda. The role is a fixed‑term, full‑time contract of 6 Months (Grade 4) and will be based in Waterloo with hybrid working.
Role Overview
The Senior Change Manager will lead the change practice across key projects, driving adoption of people, process and technology initiatives. You will partner with project sponsors, foster stakeholder engagement, and deliver change communications and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver change activities for up to two projects (50:50 support).
- Conduct change impact analyses and assess readiness.
- Secure stakeholder buy‑in and facilitate transparent project sponsor and colleague communication.
- Apply the Currys business change methodology and tools to each project.
- Design and execute communications and engagement plans to convey the change story.
- Build and maintain project microsites (SharePoint).
- Create engaging, reusable messaging for complex topics.
- Co‑deliver training programmes with stakeholders and external providers.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and programme leaders.
- Manage risks and mitigate issues that jeopardise project success.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Practical change management experience.
- Stakeholder, communication and engagement expertise.
- Training design and facilitation skills.
- Retail industry background (preferred).
- Resilience, flexibility and influence across functions.
- Networking and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and changing priorities.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Desirable: PROSCI or equivalent business change qualification.
- Professional Business Analysis qualification (ISEB or equivalent).
- Managing Successful Programme (MSP).
- Prince2 or Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Master of Business Administration (MBA).
