We’re iD Mobile, one of the UK’s leading mobile virtual network operators. We launched in May 2015 and have over 2.6 million subscribers. We’re pretty sure our success has a lot to do with our wide range of feature-packed plans. We offer everything from super-value Pay-as-you-go and SIM-only deals, right up to the latest smartphones from the big-name manufacturers. We’re delighted about our success so far and have very ambitious plans for the future.

iD Mobile is an exciting place to work. We’re a relatively young and dynamic start-up, and we value innovation, imagination, and creativity. If you’ve got a great idea, we’ll help you run with it. We’re passionate about finding new ways to address our customers’ needs. We’re a little different to other start-ups, though, because we’re part of Currys PLC, Europe's leading electrical and mobile retailer. So, while iD Mobile has only been going for a few years, we’re part of a much bigger family.

Working under the direction of the Product Setup Lead, the role executes the hands-on configuration of tariffs, add-ons, bundles, roaming and promotional offers across billing, CRM, ordering and digital platforms, supporting the end-to-end delivery and launch of new and amended propositions. The Product Setup Executive supports the accurate configuration, implementation, testing and maintenance of mobile product setups across iD Mobile's technology estate, ensuring commercial propositions are delivered correctly, consistently and safely to market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Configuration Delivery
    • Configure products, tariffs, discounts, allowances and rules within CMP (BSS), DMS and MATRIXX (OCS) in line with approved designs.
    • Set up mobile tariffs, SIM-only plans, device propositions, data bolt-ons, roaming products, international bundles and promotional offers across billing, CRM, ordering and digital platforms.

  • Change Implementation
    • Execute configuration changes accurately and in line with defined processes, documentation and release plans.
    • Translate the Product Setup Lead's configuration designs into precise, executable system setup activities.
  • Testing & Validation

    • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and operational readiness testing, and assist with go-live and hypercare activities following launch.
  • Issue Identification & Resolution
    • Identify configuration defects, inconsistencies or risks and work with the Product Setup Lead to resolve them promptly.
    • Raise risks and issues early and clearly support on-time, right-first-time delivery.
  • Governance & Documentation
    • Follow product governance frameworks and change controls, maintaining accurate audit trails and documentation for all configuration changes.
    • Support compliance with Ofcom regulations, Consumer Duty and internal pricing and control frameworks.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Contribute to improving setup processes, standards and templates to increase efficiency and reduce time-to-market.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with Product, Commercial, Testing and Change teams to support successful delivery of propositions and fixes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Experience in system configuration, product setup or service provisioning within telecoms or subscription-based environments.
  • Exposure to BSS / OCS platforms, ideally CMP, DMS, Matrixx or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail with a methodical, quality-focused approach.
  • Understanding of mobile products, charging structures and lifecycle concepts.
  • Comfortable working with structured change and release processes.

Mention specific technologies you're proficient in, like IP networking, VoIP, or security protocols. Be sure your CV includes any relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+; they really show you've got the chops for the job.

Tailor Your Experience to Match Networking Projects:In your CV and cover letter, don’t just list your past jobs—showcase specific projects that align with the role!
