As our Optimisation Development Manager you’ll be part of the Digital team, reporting into the Head of Digital Product, Optimisation & Personalisation. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving roadmap delivery that shapes how we drive our Digital/Ecommerce growth through best‑in‑class, personalised omnichannel experiences.

Responsibilities
- Leading the development and execution of A/B tests, multivariate tests, and personalisation strategies to improve conversion rates and optimise user experiences
- Planning and managing development and QA resources for planned roadmaps
- Working closely with stakeholders from the product teams in an agile environment, ensuring alignment on goals and strategies
- Working closely with Product owners and UX/UI designers, and content teams to create and execute on optimisation plans. Ensure changes are effectively implemented and tracked.
- Continuously refining the CRO development process, advocating for best practices in development, testing and optimisation within the organisation
- Performing and upskilling the team to create client‑side and server‑side experiences through our AB testing platform
- Improving, enhancing, and maintaining robust processes for both development and QA
- Ensuring bug‑free and performant code is released onto our websites
- Ensuring smooth transitions between product releases and our activities
- Coaching and developing the team, striving for continuous improvement and efficiencies in ways of working.
Qualifications
- Experience as a people manager, developing and coaching people and processes
- A solid background of developer experience with extensive experience in front‑end development and working with REST APIs and DOM manipulation
- Exceptional JavaScript knowledge and skills are required for complex client‑side DOM manipulation for client‑side testing
- Skills: vanilla JavaScript, React.js, jQuery and any other JavaScript frameworks are a bonus
- Bonus skill: server‑side development
- HTML and CSS skills are required to build pixel perfect responsive UI
- Adaptable and fast‑paced, ability to develop and manage high quality code efficiently
- Solid understanding of browser functionality and tools across browsers and devices
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Experience with various AB testing tools (Adobe Target, Dynamic Yield)
- Attention to detail, clear communication skills & ability to plan and document your work
