Role overview: Technical Analyst – Newark, Newark Distribution Centre – Permanent, Full Time, Grade 2, Salary 27,000. Working Hours/Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week / Shift over 8 days.

Working within our Spares Purchasing team, your role will be to ensure Bill of Materials are accurate and up to date. You’ll be providing spares related technical support to our wider team, aiming to increase availability, reducing cost and delivering great customer service.
Responsibilities
- Creating and maintaining all Bill of Materials within the spares systems, as well as resolving Bill of Materials queries in a timely manner.
- Communicating with all areas of the business to improve spares availability and reduce spares related issues. You’ll build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
- Proactively working as part of the team to reduce parts no longer available and reduce products written off due to parts delay.
- Collating and producing reports as directed by Spares Purchasing management team.
- Implementing spares related technical bulletins from manufacturers.
You will need
- To be computer literate with excellent Excel skills.
- Some understanding and expertise of electronic repair for example, laptops, TVs, mobiles or white goods.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, supporting others and reacting quickly to updates and changes.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- COMPTIA A+ Certification would be desirable.
