Overview

Currys London Campus at Waterloo – Permanent – Full Time – Grade 3.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver against both personal and business KPIs.
  • Support your manager in form, owning, implementing and measuring performance against a 'paid' channel strategy.
  • Work closely, and independently, with our agency; plan, brief, execute and optimise all campaigns to deliver against business objectives, both financially and strategically.
  • Deliver and manage new product launches across your channels.
  • Drive conversion of journeys through analyses and optimisation with the support of colleagues in Digital Insight, UI/UX and ecommerce.
  • Carry out onsite journeys analysis to continuously enhance efficiency of your channels.
  • Analyse Google, Microsoft and wider industry insights & trends to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Oversee and analyse existing campaigns performance and manage optimisation through agency and internal teams.
  • Propose creative and engaging copy for digital ads in your channel.
  • Own periodic and ad-hoc reporting (performance as well as strategic/developmental) for your channel.
  • Present insights and reporting to audiences ranging from your manager to the online team and, from time to time, all of iD Mobile.
  • Write creative and engaging copy to highlight key USPs for digital ads.
  • Build and maintain a performance tracker to share the health of PPC/PMax/Shopping programs with iD management.
  • Produce detailed analysis and reports for weekly & monthly performance of Paid Search channel.

Required Skills & Experience

  • A good understanding of how PPC/PMax/Shopping fit into the wider digital strategy.
  • Experience as a PPC executive, analyst or specialist within a search agency or in-house digital team.
  • Ownership of a PPC channel's account structure, budget tracker and key KPIs.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, with the ability to present information effectively to a range of audiences.
  • Strong commercial aptitude with effective communication skills.
  • Familiarity with new ad technology including PMax & DSAs to drive value.
  • Ability to independently manage campaign briefs for the agency, liaising with marketing, design and trading teams.
  • Experience with tools such as Google Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
  • Highly organized and detail-minded to effectively manage commercially confidential documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a good level of mathematical ability.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Creative writing skills.

Desirable

  • Experience with Power BI.
  • Ideally formally trained in digital marketing, ecommerce or related fields.
